More Mylan Mayhem: Mylan Injured, but Still Able to Type

A friend of Fork in the Road tells us that Tom Mylan was injured yesterday while trying to feed 600 people during 3rd Ward's Pig Roast and Dance Party; according to Mylan's Facebook page, he was at the hospital around 8 p.m., and then popped up about 15 minutes later with the message "...sorry I bled everywhere. Pig roast 4 Eva."
"We're just hearing that too," says Marlow & Daughters' manager, who gave her name as Mercedes, when asked about Mylan's condition. Today is the butcher's day off, she explains. "We need to find out what's going on. But I'm hoping he's not too badly injured if he was able to update his Facebook page."
The latest update, from Mylan himself: "stop freaking out. I just cut the tip of my finger off chopping up roasted pig. NBFD."
Lest we forget, dude is a butcher. And contrary to what you may have heard about them being rock stars, butchers do on occasion handle big, sharp knives.
