Clinton Hill Blog gives a shout-out to Brooklyn Brew Shop, the DIY beer brewing business that sells at-home brewing kits at the Brooklyn Flea. According to Erica Shea and Stephen Valand, the couple behind the Brew Shop, they're in the process of developing more varieties to add to their line-up, which is currently comprised of Grapefruit Honey Ale and Chocolate Maple Porter. Possibly next on the horizon? Bourbon Dubbel, brewed in a bourbon barrel, and Lobster Beer, brewed with lobster shells and possibly the most unorthodox use of seafood since Dolley Madison's oyster ice cream.
