It's a MADCrush Pop-up Wine Bar at the Museum of Arts & Design

For the next five Thursdays, you can sip a glass of wine while overlooking Central Park at The Museum of Arts & Design pop-up wine bar. MAD's seventh-floor event space will be transformed in MADCrush, a temporary bar featuring furniture constructed from recycled wine boxes. A selection of wines by the ($6) glass curated by Drew Nieporent's Crush Wine & Spirits will be paired with light bites from the likes of Scarpetta's Scott Conant, Aldea's George Mendes, and Salumeria Rosi's Cesare Casella. Mark Ladner of Del Posto cooked for opening night last Thursday.

"It's such a cool concept and I love the other chefs involved -- we're all friends," Cesare Casella told Fork in the Road. "I'm excited to bring some of Salumeria Rosi Parmacotto to the wine bar."

In other food and art pairings, self-proclaimed "Naturalicious!" Flemish outpost Danku suggests you take in the exhibition In & Out of Amsterdam at the MoMA along with its Amsterdammer breakfast sandwich or one of its Indo-Dutch soups. It's a stretch, but beats getting entangled in the food truck wars outside the museum.
