Latin Cookbooks A-Go-Go: Julian Medina To Publish His Favorite Recipes

Industria Argentina's Natalia Machado isn't the only young Latin American chef working on her own cookbook. Julian Medina of the opening-this-week Yerba Buena Perry says he is putting together a tome of his own. "I'm working on a Latin cookbook of my favorite recipes," the Mexico City-born chef told Fork in the Road. Medina, who makes a mean watermelon fry, opened contemporary Mexican Toalache two years ago and the first Yerba Buena last year.
