Mott Street Gets Juiced, Again

Mott Street between Spring and Kenmare streets will soon be home to not one, but two juice bars: The soon-to-open Green Apple, located at 200 Mott Street, will serve "blender juices" and "Italian ice cream." The shop's bright green awning looks across the street to the bright yellow awning attached to Simple, a raw juice bar at 203 Mott Street that doesn't have ice cream, but does have yoga. "Why are they opening another juice bar?" asked a man working behind the counter of a neighboring (non-juice bar) business. "We already have a juice bar!" It's only a matter of time, it seems, before the street will run green with the blood of kale sacrificed to another senseless turf war...
