Serious Eats posted this video on beekeeping in Brooklyn, which happens to be illegal. It's unclear why this is still the case, seeing as bees not only help the pollinate local flora, but also produce sweet, delicious honey. Eddie Diaz and Brandon Hoy, the general manager and owner, respectively, of Roberta's pizzeria, along with Jon Feldman, general manager of Frankies Spuntino, raise bees on a Brooklyn rooftop, and have plans to use the nectar of their labor at their restaurants.
