When the Austrians Start Frying Chicken...

...It can officially be called a trend. Though Daniel Angerer's Viennese Popcorn-Crusted Fried Chicken has been on Klee Brasserie's menu for years, the Austrian restaurant just sent out a reminder that it's available every Monday night. Given that fried chicken seems to have become this summer's pork belly, the timing isn't that surprising. It's safe to assume, though, that Angerer's take on the bird -- which whupped Bobby Flay's ass on Iron Chef -- is the only one inspired by Austria's Wienerwald fast-food chain.
