Will Goldfarb to Bring Barbecue to Investment Bankers

Diner's Journal reports that Will Goldfarb, the peripatetic experimental pastry chef who purportedly moved to Bali, is indeed back in New York and preparing to open Picknick, Smoked, a barbecue trailer in Wall Street Park. The trailer will be younger sibling to Picknick, Goldfarb's sustainable sandwich kiosks (think compostable wrappers and forks) in Battery Park. The menu, created by Goldfarb and his partner, Kevin Pomplun, features the usual artisanal suspects: heritage pork shoulder, Bobo Farms chicken, natural sodas. And, befitting Goldfarb's molecular leanings, there will also be liquid nitrogen milk shakes.
