Jacques Torres, Beer Table Coming to Chelsea Market

Diner's Journal brings word that Chelsea Market is set to get two new high-profile tenants: Jacques Torres and Park Slope's Beer Table will be opening up retail outlets. This will be the fifth storefront for Torres, who earlier this summer opened up an ice cream parlor next door to his Dumbo chocolate shop. At the Beer Table store, owners Justin and Tricia Philips will be selling cheese, fermented foods, and, of course, beer. Both places are expected to open in time for the New York Wine & Food Festival, which kicks off on October 8.
