What to Eat at Bowling Green Park's Dutch Village
From Friday through September 14, celebrate 400 years of Dutch-American relations at the New Amsterdam Village in Bowling Green Park. And, in case you're wondering what to eat as you explore the canal houses, life-size windmill, and state-of-the-art demonstration greenhouse, the van Hoeck brothers have you covered. The handsome (however eerily so) identical twin owners of the city's only Dutch restaurant, Danku, will be serving up krokets, stroopwaffels, and pofferjes. Or you could always bring your own Amsterdam-inspired treats.
