Dessert Truck Will Call Clinton Street Home
Almost two months ago, Dessert Truck owner Jermone Chang told FiTR that he was looking for a brick-and-mortar home for his mobile business, which had been shut down thanks to city permitting issues. Now it looks like that home will be at 6 Clinton Street, in the space that was supposed to be occupied by B Clinton, one of the planned outposts in Michael Huynh's ever-mushrooming empire. According to an e-mail Chang sent to Eater:

"...we'll be opening up shop sometime within the next few months. We cannot give an opening date because the lease has just been signed...And no, the project will not be called "DessertTruck Stop." The name is TBD...We will feature our DessertTruck menu along with plenty of new items."
Between this and the cannoli place, it looks like a bright new day for neighborhood sweet tooths.
