Get Your Cuchifrito, Your Cocaine

Calle Luna restaurant in Jersey City has not only been doing big business in pernil and pasteles (which Eating in Translation thought were particularly fine), but it's also allegedly been peddling cocaine, to the tune of $35,000 each week. An investigation of the drug ring operating out of the restaurant has resulted in the arrests of two New Jersey police officers and the Hoboken Fire Department Battalion Chief, all of whom, the prosecutor says, were regular customers at Calle Luna (no word on whether or not they ate there too).
