Jonathan Gold Gets His 'New Yorker' Profile

Jonathan Gold's already won the only Pulitzer ever awarded for food criticism, so it's appropriate that a New Yorker profile would follow, albeit two years after the fact. The article, by Dana Goodyear, will appear in Monday's issue of the magazine, and, it should be added, features an appearance by Our Man Sietsema, who joined Gold in an eating spree that crisscrossed the East Village, Flushing, and the West Village, all in the space of a single, epic afternoon.
