Bread & Butter, a "Gourmet Cafe," Opening on Park Avenue South

Looks like the New York Burger on Park Avenue South is getting a neighbor. If this facade is anything to go by, 315 Park Avenue South will soon be home to something called Bread & Butter. The sign doesn't offer much in the way of clues as to which habits, exactly, will be formed (bread buttering?), but it's apparently going to be a 3,500-square foot "gourmet cafe." The building, which sits at the corner of 24th Street and houses the headquarters of Credit Suisse, was bought two years ago by a luxury developer, so perhaps there will be champagne and roses among the Clif Bars and pre-sliced deli meats.
