The Mott has announced that Brian Bieler is out at the restaurant, which still has no liquor license. Brian Murphy, who worked under Bieler, will take over for the new fall menu.

Daniel Rivera was appointed head chef at L'Asso in Nolita about a month ago. So far, he has added a grilled skirt steak marinated in primitivo and topped with chimichurri.

Fabio Trabocchi, formerly of Fiamma, has taken over as the new head chef at The Four Seasons. Owners Julian Niccolini and Alex von Bidder issued a statement saying that they were "excited to reveal [their] delicious future."

Anita Lo plans to reopen her restaurant, Annisa, in November, following months of reconstruction after a fire. She is also "furiously" working on a cookbook, though it remains in the early stages.
