Critical darling Joseph Leonard, which Our Man Sietsema pronounced "often spectacular," has begun serving breakfast this week, from the hours of 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Tuesdays through Fridays. 
Among the more predictable breakfast dishes, like Anston Mills grits, brioche French toast, lox on rye, and broccoli quiche, there's a funny little item called cereal and milk. And no, it's not some post-modern invention, it's really just cereal and milk--your choice of Kashi Oatmeal Squares, Special K, or Honey Nut Cheerios. For the asking price of $3.50, you could buy a whole box, but it's also a bit charming, recalling the tiny boxes of cereal that used to be displayed behind diners' counters.
