Murray's to Go Nationwide

Murray's is set to spread itself across the country like so much melted brie over toast: According to an article in Supermarket News, the 40-year-old cheese company is partnering with the Kroger Co. to open 50 store-within-a-store locations nationwide over the next three years.
Murray's first partnered with Kroger a year and a half ago to open three pilot locations in Cincinnati. Their success was almost immediate, drastically increasing cheese sales at the stores. Apparently, Middle America is buying what New York is selling, at least if it comes with a bloomy rind and tastes good on crackers.
