What would you give for this man's jacket?

Some people throw their underwear onstage at Tom Jones (or Guy Fieri). Others stand in line for hours to get a copy of their favorite cookbook signed. If you're a die-hard fan of some of the chefs this city has produced, now's your chance to own a piece of them forever.

Slow Food NYC has launched a Tools of the Trade online auction on eBay, which will benefit its Harvest Time in Schools program. Bid on items like Daniel Boulud's complete set of cookbooks, each including a personalized handwritten autograph (starting bid: $150); or a copper pan from the original days of Aureole, donated by Charlie Palmer ($200). How about a cherished mortar and pestle from Zak Pelaccio, purchased while he was living in Kuala Lumpur and used to grind various spice mixtures when testing dishes for Fatty Crab ($85)? And just imagine how you'd look sporting Eric Ripert's autographed chef whites, worn in the kitchen at Le Bernardin ($75). Additional items from Mario Batali, Rachael Ray, and Jean Vongerichten are also up for bid. So, start stretching that clicking finger -- you've got a lot of refreshing to do.
