And In Strange Studies: Pecorino, For Your Health

pecorino1.jpg
A group of American and Italian scientists have put their resources and expertise to good use studying the long-term effects of Pecorino Romano cheese on human health. One usually thinks of formaggio as a fatty indulgence, but, apparently, the researchers have found that small amounts of the aged Italian cheese can help protect against arteriosclerosis, inflammation, and even cancer.

The results of the study were presented at a press conference in New York last week.
