Fleisher's Begins Manhattan and Brooklyn Delivery
Fleisher's may of late be most widely recognized as the scene of some of Julie Powell's many crimes in Cleaving, but it's more deservedly known for its excellent selection of humanely raised, pastured meats. And now, the Kingston, N.Y. butcher shop is making that meat more accessible to us city folk.
Fleisher's is beginning door-to-door delivery service to homes and offices throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. Deliveries will be made every Thursday, and the next one is scheduled for the 17th. There's a delivery minimum of $100, so consider going in on it with a couple of iron-deficient friends.
