Katy Sparks Takes Over Park Slope's Bussaco
Katy Sparks, who was last seen doing consulting work at 10 Downing, has now taken over the helm at Park Slope's Bussaco. ![]()
Kate Krader reports that Sparks is now both the restaurant's co-owner (with master sommelier Scott Carney) and executive chef, and has added a bar menu to the current roster of seasonal American dishes. Sparks, who won Food & Wine's Best New Chef Award in 1998 for her work at Quilty's, has in recent years run her own culinary consulting company and written a cookbook.
