Michael Psilakis' Ketel One Food Cart Starts Serving Free Food Tonight

Rumors that Michael Psilakis was doing a food cart got everyone all hot and bothered earlier this year. As it turns out, the project is a partnership with Ketel One to promote drinking responsibly. The Ketel One Canteen kicks off tonight at the corner of Gansevoort Street and 9th Avenue, serving not only complimentary food and bottled water, but also free rides home to drunken revelers, of which there is no shortage in the Meatpacking District.
The cart will be operation through Saturday, each night from midnight to 2 a.m. The menu features Chicken Shish-Kebab Pita with Fennel and Onion Salad, Lamb Burger with Roasted Red Pepper and Feta Sauce, and a Caponata & Couscous Wrap.
