Serious Eats Looks Back at the Year's Burger Trends
Throw another year-end listicle on the campfire: Serious Eats has decided to take a Russian doll approach to cataloging the trends of the past 12 months by deeming the burger trend worthy of its own top 10 (or more specifically, top 7) list.

Among the trends within the burger trend that SE's list/slideshow calls out are Burger King's offensive, Cro-Magnon-caliber ads, the Pat LaFrieda juggernaut, huge burgers like the Windows 7 Whopper, and high-end chefs opening their own burger joints.
Like Mikey's Burger, which, on a semi-related note, Bowery Boogie reports will open, for real this time, tonight.
