Top Chef's Eli Kirshtein Coming to New York in January to Cook at Kosher Steakhouse

Picture 1.png
It looks as though Top Chef's Eli Kirshtein is finally making his parents empty nesters: according to an interview he gave to Omnivore Atlanta, the Season Six casualty will be moving here to do a guest-chef stint at Solo, the kosher steakhouse in the Sony building in Midtown.

Weirdly, this is the same place that Hung Huynh ended up after winning Season Three; perhaps Kirshtein is hoping that the owners will invest in the restaurant he told Omnivore he hopes to open in Atlanta after returning from New York. Whatever the case, he'll be coming here sometime in January and staying for a month, presumably with styling gel and hubris in tow.
