Anne Burrell reveals the worst thing she tasted on her new Food Network show Worst Cooks in America: "The turnip surprise. It was hollowed out turnips and rutabagas, stuffed with tri-tip beef, asparagus, and rhubarb, tossed in a saute pan and put in the oven-- no salt, no oil, whole turnips, completely raw. Everything was weird looking, and completely unpalatable."

Daniel Boulud shares his favorite places to eat in New York, including the obvious (Corton, Eleven Madison Park, Blue Ribbon), as well as Aldea, Salumeria Rosi, and Daisy May's BBQ, whose pulled pork he uses to pimp out the Piggie burger at DBGB.

The Food Network will start shooting the second season of Alex's Day Off next month, a program that follows Chef Alexandra Guarnaschelli of Butter when she's not running the restaurant.
