This week, Casaus is launching a prix fixe that's actually something of a bargain.
On Monday and Tuesday nights, eaters can choose two small plates and a glass of wine or beer for $20. Food options include weisswurst with homemade sauerkraut and bread, chicken liver mousse with apple compote, salt cod cakes with caper remoulade, and pork belly with apple salad.
Wine choices include a sparkling rose, a red from Spain's Priorat appellation, and a Pinot Bianco from Alto Adige in Italy, among others. On the beer list, two are local favorites: Six Point Bengali IPA and Blue Point Toasted Lager.
Weekday nights, a happy hour from 5-7 allows glasses of wine for $6 and beer for $5.
