Get Your Caffeine Fix at the Fifth Annual Coffee & Tea Festival NYC
Now that New Yorkers can boast a fancy $18,000 espresso machine and a brand-new coffee blog -- not mention a handful of tea houses opening -- one might deduce that the city is on something of a caffeine high. And that might lead one to believe that this year's Coffee & Tea Festival NYC, the fifth annual event of its kind, might just be the best one ever.
Because everyone loves a brewfest.
This year's event takes place this Saturday and Sunday at 7WEST (7 West 34th Street), and will feature seminars by Korean tea master Yoon Hee Kim, cupping experts Marcela Zuchovicki and Alex Jinich, and Chef Melody McGinley Whitelaw, a guest chef at Bloomingdale's. Decaffeinated options will be available for those prone to the shakes.
