Johnny T's Oyster Bar Revealed (Sort of)

A couple weeks back, Fork in the Road learned that Johnny T, who owns Bowery Electric, Niagara, and Cabin Down Below, was preparing to open an oyster bar on East 7th Street. When reached for comment, however, T would give none. Now, details about the place have surfaced, although the name remains a secret.

Per UrbanDaddy, the nameless (for now) oyster bar opened last week in a space formerly occupied by a pizza joint, which just happens to be above Cabin Down Below, T's speakeasy at the corner of Avenue A and East 7th. Indeed, oysters as well as burgers will be served, and a windowed smokers' patio will help the establishment avoid that pesky crackdown on illicit smoking in bars.
