Mimi's Hummus Opens Its Market in Ditmas Park

Early last month, we reported that Mimi's Hummus would be expanding its Cortelyou Road presence with a market--called, appropriately, Market--on Jan. 25.
A week past its due date, Market opened for business this morning, as confirmed by a call to the store. The "modern Middle Eastern local market"--as it was described by owner Avi Shuker--carries a variety of cheese, olives, meats, coffee, chocolate, and specialty deli products. And for morning types, per Ditmas Park Blog, it also sells espresso and Balthazar pastries.
