No. 7 Sub Shop Will Most Likely Open Next Week

Back in October, No. 7's Tyler Kord gave us a sneak peak of the sandwiches he'd be serving at the No. 7 sub shop at the Ace Hotel, which he expected to open sometime in December or January.

Today, Florence Fabricant brings word that the shop, which will feature such inspired creations as an imitation lobster roll and a roast beef sandwich with pickled blueberries, should be opening sometime next week. Judging by the twisted genius in evidence on the menu, it looks like Kord's been taking a lot of long bus rides with no reading material.
