Next Monday is shaping up to be quite a watershed for sweet tooths and those who enable them: not only is Dorie Greenspan throwing open the doors to her CookieBar, but Tully's Gluten-Free Bakery is also scheduled to bestow its creations upon the East Village.
A call to the bakery confirmed that it's on track to open by Feb. 8, though as with any scheduled opening, that date is subject to change. Still, if all goes according to plan, East 11th Street will soon become the latest stop on the xantham gum express.
