The magazine profiles drink slingers from Death & Company, White Star, and Bar Henry, asking them where they like to drink, what they like to make, and the perks and pitfalls of dating a bartender (free drinks, good times, and the knowledge that the barkeep has probably dated the punter sitting next to you). Readers can even write in requesting a date. It's a step up from a slurred, over-the-bar proposition. But not a big step.
