Robert Sietsema at Northern Spy; Sarah DiGregorio at Kuai An Hand Pull Noodles

This week in the Voice, Robert Sietsema is fond of Northern Spy, despite "a certain blandness" about the food that can probably be attributed to the Bay Area-style hands-off approach to food preparation. Sarah DiGregorio samples the latest Fujian-owned Lanzhou noodle joint, Kuai An Hand Pull Noodles, and leaves quite satisfied.

Sam Sifton upgrades Strip House from one star to two, deeming the food "generally marvelous, the steak often superb."
