Seven Rivers of India to Open on East Houston Street

sevenrivers.png
The Seven Rivers of India will flow down East Houston Street.
The strip of East Houston between Orchard and Ludlow Streets has been busy as of late. Lina Frey is getting ready to open in the old Yoshi space, and next door, at 203, there are literal signs of life: It looks like a new restaurant called the Seven Rivers of India is planning to set up shop, complete with sidewalk seating. According to the sign, "just like the Seven major rivers and its tributaries in India provide for so many in India, SEVEN RIVERS OF INDIA is here to provide fresh, healthy Indian meals for you." On April 19. We'll see if CB3 will provide the restaurant with a beer and wine license.
