Top Chef May Travel to the Nation's Capital, Maybe With Kate Winslet in Tow

The past 24 hours have brought a flurry of Top Chef news: The Washington Post has heard from "some sources" close to the show that its seventh season (whose filming was pushed back until April to accommodate Padma's pregnancy) will be filmed in Washington, D.C. If the show does make it to our nation's capital, it may bring Kate Winslet along: According to the Post, the actress met Tom Colicchio at a party and told the soul-patched one that she wants to be on the show. If she does, her performance would likely be more convincing than those on display in Top Heavy Chef, the soft-core parody that none of us, absolutely none of us, were waiting for.
