A New Juice Bar for First Street

The East Village is set to get yet another bar, but this one will be selling juice. As in the kind made with fruit. According to a barista at Bluebird Coffee on 1st Street, the papered-over storefront next door at number 70 will soon be home to a juice bar. And apparently its owners have a good sense of humor -- they've been advertising their upcoming venture as, by turns, robot daycare, a store selling missing socks, and a mime school.

Not much else is known at this point, though EV Grieve has it that the store will open on May 15, and will also sell smoothies.
