Steven Colbert reports on the latest Republican health care reform alternative: bartering. That's not a joke! Just offer your doctor a chicken or a few vegetables in exchange for care! That'll drive costs down! This has been suggested by actual politicians, including the candidate challenging Harry Reid for his Nevada Senate seat.

Colbert explains how the bartering system might work: "Just check the directory to make sure your doctor is in the chicken network...and remember what your mother told you: In case you go to the hospital, make sure you wear clean underwear and carry plenty of farm animals."
