Vox Pop Apparently Seized by the Government. Again.

Four months after being shuttered by the tax man, Vox Pop has apparently been seized yet again. Ditmas Park Blog has learned from a neighbor that the famously embattled cafe is sporting bright orange "seized" stickers and that its gates are down. After manager Debi Ryan managed to raise $10,000 to reopen Vox Pop late last year, it looked like its troubles were over, but well, maybe not. Calls to the cafe were answered only by an endlessly ringing phone, suggesting that another community bailout may loom in the not-so-distant future.
