The "robust flavors of Spain," served here.
Not only did the folks at Metromix spread the word about Crif Dogs' imminent Williamsburg expansion, they also dug up an interesting morsel about Terrance Brennan's Bar Artisanal: Brennan told the website that his year-old small plates restaurant, located in Tribeca, has gone Spanish because "...I got bored. I always wanted to do a Spanish restaurant and was looking for a space and just decided to make this it. We have a Spanish GM and a Spanish chef, so it just makes sense. It officially comes out tomorrow."

The changes have already taken effect on the restaurant's website, which now features a lady wearing a flamenco skirt: the menu lists such Iberian staples as salt cod croquetas, blistered padrón peppers, and three types of ham, and the restaurant is described as a "culinary tribute to the simple ingredients, rich culture, and robust flavors of Spain."
