Betty White Talks About Her Muffin on Saturday Night Live

One of the many highlights of Betty White's appearance on last weekend's Saturday Night Live was the unexpected resurrection of Delicious Dish, the Splendid Table-like radio show that most memorably gave the world Alec Baldwin's schweddy balls. Hosted by Ana Gasteyer and Molly Shannon, it featured White as Florence Dusty, a baker described as a "little bit of a rock star in the confectionary world." Although her carrot cake is "obviously legendary" Dusty says, "if there's one thing I'm known for, it's my muffin." Much innuendo follows, along with the priceless observation that "a yeasty muffin can really ruin your whole day." Now that the public has successfully lobbied for Betty White to host SNL, can we please have a Facebook campaign to bring back Delicious Dish?
