New Test Strips Detect Pork for Muslims

Kazakhstan scientists have invented a test strip that immediately detects the presence of pork.

Pork is cheap and easily available in the mainly Muslim country. A local newspaper, the Megopolis Express, claims that chefs often augment beef with pork to lower costs. Hence, these test strips to foil the plot. Apparently, a diner might take a bit of meat, put it in his or her water glass, shake it around, insert the test strip, and instantly know whether or not there's pig in the dish. Either way, they'll need a new glass of water.
