Thieves Hit a String of Park Slope Restaurants

Usually, the Park Slope restaurant scene is more closely associated with stroller bottlenecks and organic kale, but it's apparently also become a hotbed of theft: The Brooklyn Paper has noticed that since the beginning of the month, Al Di La, Aji Bar & Lounge, Nuevo Mexico, and AOC Bistro have all been burglarized. Whether the incidents are connected is unclear, but between this and the string of Trader Joe's robberies, perhaps this particular sector of Brooklyn isn't as bucolic as the children's boutiques and sustainably sourced hot dogs would suggest.
