Wolfgang Puck Will Go Smurfing
First, Thomas Keller lent his talents to Ratatouille, and then, Mario Batali gave voice to a rabbit in The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Now, Wolfgang Puck is the latest chef to jump on the animation train:he'll play a little blue man, three apples high, in the upcoming The Smurfs movie.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Puck will play, appropriately, Chef Smurf. There's actually also a Baker Smurf, but he'll be voiced by B.J. Novak, better known for his live-action pursuits on The Office.
Novak will doubtless do a fine job, but with all due respect, Betty White's Delicious Dish appearance last weekend makes us wish she was cast in the role, if only so that Baker Smurf could serve some surprisingly salty muffins to his little blue cohorts.
