A-Pou's Taste, New Taiwanese Food Cart, Arrives at Astor Place

There's yet another new food cart in town: A-Pou's Taste just opened yesterday, and they've snagged a prime spot on the south side of Astor Place.

The harried couple inside the cart are selling pot stickers in three flavors: Taiwanese pork, "Hongkongese experience" (chicken), and Korean kimchi and beef. There are also two soups, corn chowder and hot and sour, and milk teas in various flavors like taro and green apple.

A small line had gathered outside the cart, which reads "originally from Taiwan," and the couple were working to fill orders. They found a minute to say that this is their first food cart. It joins NYC Cravings to become the second Taiwanese street food vendor in Manhattan that we know of.
