(Most) Brooklyn Bridge Park Vendors on Track to Open in July

Looks even better with lobster rolls and wieners.
Early last month, the Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corporation announced its lineup of summer food and beverage vendors. A rep from Empire State Development told us that the vendors would probably be up and running by mid-July. According to Grub Street, it looks like Blue Marble won't open its stand until the end of the month at the earliest, due to permitting issues, but other vendors, such as Calexico Carne Asada, the Brooklyn Bridge Wine Bar, and Ditch Plains, are definitely supposed to open more or less on schedule, meaning that Ditch Plains' mac-and-cheese-smothered wieners will soon blow bikini season to smithereens.
