Gourmet Rises From the Dead (Sort Of)

Those who think apps are the future of the Internet just got more ammunition: Gourmet will be revived as Gourmet Live, an app that will offer "an ever-expanding collection of articles, photos, video and more about: seasonal foods, holidays and special occasions, restaurants, travel and food culture, chefs ..." Its motto? "Rewarding you for good living." Ruth Reichl does not seem to be involved. 
Women's Wear Daily tweets that it's an attempt to "attract new readers via the iPad." Those who can't afford an iPad are apparently out of luck.
