Representing the Empire State is the "garbage plate": a greasy mess of potatoes, beans, meat (a choice of hamburger, cheeseburger, hot dog, sausage, chicken tender, fish, or fried ham), onions, mustard, and hot sauce that amounts to some three pounds of food. It boasts anywhere from 93 to 203 grams of fat per plate. But don't worry, skinny Manhattanites. The plate is said to originate in Rochester, so your chances of running into it are slim.
