The Fourth Annual NY Brewfest Will Bring a Lot of Beer to Governors Island This Saturday
Craft beer will get yet another moment in the sun this Saturday, when Brewfest descends upon the grassy expanse of Governors Island. The festival will celebrate its fourth year with suds from breweries including Brewery Ommegang, Ithaca Beer Company, Spaten, Duvel, Captain Lawrence, and Harlem Brewing Co. (a full list can be found on the Brewfest website). There will also be food from the likes of Sullivan Street Bakery, Sigmund Pretzel, Van Leeuwen, and Pat LaFrieda, as well as beer-related seminars and live music that will presumably also go well with alcohol consumption. The festivities kick off at 3:30 p.m., and tickets can be found here.
