Vendy Nominations Are Now Open to the Public
This sixth annual Vendy Awards will take place on September 25 on Governors Island, and beginning today you can nominate your favorite vendor for the event's top honor. The Street Vendor Project, which holds the awards -- and benefits directly from the cost of the (tax-deductible) $85 tickets -- has posted the nomination form here; the page also conveniently contains a link for purchasing tickets.
