No ripped T-shirts and jeans here, either.
Another day, another swank supper club: Following months of speculation, Flo Fab confirms that Alex Guarnaschelli and her partners at Butter, Richie Akiva and Scott Sartiano, will convert the former Nell's into the Darby, a place that Akiva claims will invoke the "old-fashioned sense of class from the '50s and '60s" once seen at El Morocco.

Which means "a modern vibe" -- no ripped T-shirts and jeans, children! -- as well as a raw bar, small plates, and a "Continental" menu of seafood, vegetarian dishes, meats, and possibly oysters Rockefeller and soufflés.

The restaurant/club/old-fashioned classy place is located at 246 West 14th Street and is scheduled to open around Labor Day.
